Black History Month observance on Wed., Feb. 27, 2008

Participants in the annual Black History Month observance at My Home, Your Home Inc. learned about the Quilt Code used by African-American slaves to disseminate secret messages to those who were fleeing to Canada.

Participants then decorated fabric squares representing our agency’s clients, employees, needs and aspirations. These squares will be stitched together as a symbol of our unity amidst diversity.
